We are committed to building a world that engages art, culture and creativity as catalysts for community vibrancy, sustainability, prosperity and inclusiveness.

Who We Are

The Toronto Artscape Foundation is a charitable organization that works with our community of donors to raise dollars to create the conditions to help artists thrive.

We work to increase the public’s understanding of arts and culture through its support of community arts programs, creative placemaking educational programs and access to arts and cultural facilities.

Support from individual donors, public and private foundations, corporations and government agencies empowers the Toronto Artscape Foundation to undertake ambitious projects that positively impact the lives of artists and foster vibrant communities.

Executive Director

In March 2021 we were excited to announce that Brooke Duval accepted the position of Executive Director to the Toronto Artscape Foundation (TAF). She brings exceptional talents to this role and has dedicated her career to making a difference in people’s lives.

Brooke drives the strategic direction and innovation of TAF. She is also our senior liaison to our community of supporters. Before joining Toronto Artscape Foundation, for over a decade she held leadership roles at the Heart and Stroke Foundation and TIFF, where she led teams in raising millions of dollars in major gifts and corporate partnerships.

Brooke brings a multidiscipline approach to philanthropy, corporate and individual support and sponsorship.

Brooke holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
